Julie Monley

The gentle and sensual mix of Brazilian samba and American jazz. Called the new wave music of the 1950’s and1960’s. Bossa Nova is more of a musical feeling than a musical construct. A soft swing than any composition could be placed into and then redefined.

This evening will be reminiscent of Stan Getz / João Gilberto and Astrud Gilberto with Stanley Turrentine.

Julie Monley was born the sixth of twelve children in Denver Colorado.
